I have just made a visit to thai consulate today. My first impression was unsatisfactory. What has happen to friendly smiles and courtesy? Staff members acted as a bothersome to guests instead of helping. Government employee!! Second, there were not a picture of the king and chains of command in the room. No respect! Third, Staffs have no name tags, to whom am I talking with? Fourth, Staffs are not very knowledgeable especially Visa issues. Simply put, after traveling at great distance, The issue is not resolved; it is a waste of time, money.
Fifth, the current website is helpful, some what. Sixth, contact by phone and email are unsatisfactory, no one pick up the phone, email response was to send you back to the home page. What kind of a service are you providing?
Treat people nice, they will be nice to you. INCLUDING YOUR THAIs. They are the ones who paid your salary.
